book coverJasper Caulfield may be a billionaire but when he hears the terms of his father’s, that he marries Hayley Addington, he is livid but knows that if he doesn’t comply he stands to lose everything he wants. Hayley knows that Jasper isn’t going to like the terms of the will but she has no option but to agree to marry Jasper after he blackmails her. But what these two hadn’t counted on was the simmering desire that lies just beneath the surface. Will it be enough for them to build a marriage of love? Or is it just wishful thinking?

What started as a marriage of convenience ends up becoming one full of love and dedication. It took me a while to get to like Jasper, only because he saw his enforced marriage as spite on his father’s behalf and in some ways blamed Hayley for his troubles. I loved Hayley though, she was tough and determined, and when she realized that she was in love with Jasper, but he had only married her for his inheritance, I felt sorry for her. It also didn’t help that there were secrets hampering their lives too. Melanie Milburne is a talented author and I love reading her books because every one is different. Her heroes are men you love to hate until they discover what love means and her heroines are women that know the men they fall in love with will love them unconditionally, when they finally discover the true meaning of love.
