"In the highly romantic, Bodine’s Bounty, Charlene Sands tells the story of two people who come together under unusual circumstances."

Bodine, a bounty hunter, is reluctantly on the trail of Emma Maire Rourke. She left home looking for her father, a man she believed had died in a mill accident but is in reality a petty thief. Bodine had been saved by her grandfather during the Civil War and her grandmother asked for his help. Knowing he needed to heal from a wound sustained chasing his twin brother’s murderer, Bodine reluctantly agrees. Finding her singing in a small town, Bodine is just in time to rescue her from a disreputable bar owner. On the run together, Bodine must contend with injuries, snow storms and Emma herself. Bodine had always felt that love was not for him but Emma is making him rethink that. Emma, an independent and capable young lady, does not know that Bodine was hired by her grandmother and feels that their traveling together is mere coincidence. How will she feel when she learns the truth, especially with her heart at stake?

Bodine is a man set on remaining a bounty hunter all his life. Emma knocked him for a loop with her combination of determination and innocence. A talented singer, Emma further mesmerized him with her voice. Fighting his desire for Emma is difficult but he had promised to return her safe and sound. The sexual tension when these two were together increased until it broke in a blaze of passion that was beautiful and satisfying. Snagged from page one, Charlene Sands will have you engrossed in this tale as we follow along with Bodine and Emma and their various mishaps in Bodine’s Bounty. The ending is fantastic and not to be missed. With just the right touch of humor, Charlene Sands has penned an adventurous and romantic novel with Bodine’s Bounty.
