Forgotten Marriage by Paula Roe

Ally McNight and Finn Sorenson met and, after a whirlwind, hot affair, married. Returning to Finn’s home in Copenhagen was a shock for Ally. Finn is very wealthy and his family looks upon her as an opportunist. Constant fights and innuendos lead Ally to believe the marriage is over and she returns to Australia to try and build a life without Finn. Now Finn is back, needing answers. He had been in a car crash which led to his father’s death and the loss of some of Finn’s memory. Included in that memory loss is the existence of a wife and why he allowed that wife to leave him. It is imperative that he regain that memory because without it, his stepmother takes control of the family business. Ally could not be more surprised when Finn shows up demanding she help him. Ally does not want to but feels she owes him. Will the constant contact ignite the passion from the past? Ally knows she must guard against this if she is to protect her heart.
An intriguing concept, Finn’s memory loss allowed him to make decisions without family interference. Finn does not recognize Ally but it seems his senses do. Ally too felt that spark but she wanted to protect herself and yet she is drawn to help him. Beautifully matched, that passion cannot be denied and blazes forth. A story of second chances, Forgotten Marriage is charming, fascinating and passionate. This is my first novel by Paula Roe and I can guarantee it will not be the last. She produces pleasurable reading from first page to last.
