September 14, 2008 in Dana Marton, Harlequin Intrigue, Member, New Releases, Reviews, September 2008 by Debby
Julia Gardner arrives in Beharrain in search of Aziz, the father of her unborn child. She finds instead danger when her search leads her to Aziz’s brother, Karim. Approaching him at a bad time, Karim tells her Aziz is gone as he tries to save her and himself from a car bomb. When Karim learns she is pregnant, he is determined to keep her with him until paternity can be confirmed. Unfortunately, the person who killed Aziz may now be trying to kill Karim. Julia becomes involved in the dangers of his life. On the run together, neither may survive to confirm who the father of her child is.
Dana Marton has penned a tale of non-stop action reminiscent of Indiana Jones. Julia is as determined to leave as Karim is determined to keep her. Julia’s attempts lead to some interesting situations for the two of them. She turns out to be resourceful and capable. Karim was a fantastic sexy hero and was willing to listen to Julia. This is one book you will not be able to put down as you follow along with their adventures. Sheik Protector and Dana Marton will take you on quite a ride, a ride that ends with your heart racing and a smile on your face.
