Marc Castellano has never forgotten nor forgiven Ava McGuire for leaving him for his business rival and the loss of a business deal. Now he will have his revenge by offering her a proposition, become his and all the debts left by her husband will be taken care of by him or face financial and social ruin. Ava knew that facing Marc again would be hard but she didn’t know how hard, nor that her silence would create the situation they’re in. Revenge is a dish best served cold but what happens when that changes and love enters the equation? And will she agree to the terms he has made?
Castellano’s Mistress Of Revenge by Melanie Milburne is a tale that captures the essence of a relationship struggling through hurt and revenge. I enjoyed reading about Marc and Ava, two characters that hide their passion and the complexities of their relationship for one another behind anger and mistrust. Ms Milburne is an author that pens stories of characters that work hard to rebuild their relationship into a loving and caring one, and with this book she has definitely achieved that.
