"Sexy, believable, heart-warming and wholly mesmerizing, I devoured Kate Hardy’s latest novel for Mills and Boon, Good Girl or Gold Digger? in a single sitting!"

Daisy Bell might not have much luck with men, but she’s an absolute wizard with engines – which is why she has put all of her heart, soul and her money into the Bell Fairground Museum! Having been founded by her ancestors, the museum is Daisy’s pride and joy. But despite her love for the place, she is very much aware that unless she finds a solution to her financial problems, she might just have to close down the museum for good! However, Daisy has never been a quitter and she is determined to solve her financial difficulties – so the last thing she needs to find one morning is the museum cruelly vandalized by heartless hooligans.

Not only will Daisy have to shut up shop whilst she gets round to doing all the repairs and thus lose much needed revenue, but she also has to somehow find extra capital in order to start fixing what has been damaged during the break-in. But as she’s already mortgaged to the hilt, Daisy knows that she is in danger of losing every single thing which she holds dear to her heart.

Millionaire businessman Felix Gisbourne is always looking for a challenge and for new business ventures in which he can invest his money and make a profit, and when he reads about Daisy’s predicament in the local paper, Felix realizes that he give her business the much-needed cash injection it needs to get back on its feet again. Of course, the fact that he thinks that Daisy is the most gorgeous thing he has seen in overalls has got absolutely nothing to do with it…

Daisy’s previous relationships might have all ended disastrously, but with Felix spending more and more time with her, she cannot help but find herself drawn to the sexy businessman. Although Felix had once tried commitment, a callous declaration from his former fiancée had soon put him off marriage and babies for good. Yet, he finds himself unable to stop thinking about Daisy…or from wishing that he could strip off her overalls and make her his…

Felix thinks that he could be falling for Daisy, but the wounds from his past relationship still have not healed and he cannot help but wonder whether Daisy is in love with him…or his bank account?

Is Daisy’s love for him strong enough to vanquish the ghosts which still haunt him? Or will Felix’s past prevent him for enjoying his future…with Daisy?

I adored Kate Hardy’s latest novel, Good Girl or Gold-Digger! Her heroine, Daisy, was fantastic. She was strong, feisty, resourceful and had a heart of gold, whilst Felix was a charming, sexy and well-defined hero I doubt any romance reader will be able to resist! I also found the fairground background to this story immensely fascinating. Kate Hardy always set her stories against such fascinating backgrounds, but she never lets them overwhelm the story or overshadow the romance.

Refreshing, captivating and feel-good, Good Girl or Gold Digger? is another winner from a fabulous writer whose name alone is sure-fire guarantee of high quality romantic fiction: Kate Hardy!
