Review: The Mélendez Forgotten Marriage by Melanie Milburne
June 10, 2010 in Harlequin Presents, July 2010, Melanie Milburne, Reviews by sheryl

Emelia Mélendez awakens with no recollection of the man that is her husband, of the life that she has led nor the attraction that can’t be denied between them.
Javier Mélendez is used to getting his own way and marrying Emelia is no different. But Emelia is about to prove that she won’t be the trophy wife any longer and that she wants a marriage based on love and that she intends to regain her life with or without her husband.
An unforgettable tale of passion, The Mélendez Forgotten Marriage by Melanie Milburne leaves the reader with a memorable experience. Javier and Emelia are two strong characters who know what they want from their marriage but are too afraid to voice their desires for fear of damaging their fragile relationship. But the accident that leaves Emelia with amnesia is like a gift from god, especially when it gives them the chance to start again but only until Emelia regains her memory. The trials Javier and Emelia go through would ruin any marriage but their courage gives them the inclination to grasp at the opportunity to have the love that is waiting for them with open arms. I really enjoyed reading this thoroughly enchanting tale of rediscovering a love that refuses to be denied.
