Dr. Rene Munroe’s life is almost perfect. She’s got the perfect job, loves her friends and is lucky enough to live in one of the world’s most beautiful places. However, there is just one thing missing from her life. One thing that could make her the happiest woman in the world: a baby. But with no man on the horizon and the furious ticking of her biological clock, it looks like Rene’s dream will not be coming true any time soon.
Having given up on finding Mr. Right, Rene knows that if she wants to become a mom, she’s got two choices: either adopt or else find someone willing to have a baby with her. With each passing day, the idea of finding someone to have a baby with becomes more and more agreeable, but with everyone around her coupled up, who is going to be willing to give her the child she is desperate for? Enter heart doctor Jon Becker…
After his wife had walked out on their marriage – not before she had condemned him for being dull, boring and square – Jon had vowed never to get involved with anyone else ever again. With his career and a long list of things which he is planning to do in the coming years, responsibilities and commitments are the last things he wants. Although, Jon had vowed never to let another woman get under his skin again, he’s finding himself increasingly drawn to Rene. But although he wouldn’t mind taking her out to dinner, is he prepared to give her a baby?
Jon’s already raised two teenage daughters and now that they’ve flown the nest, he wants to be free to do as he pleases. But when Rene tells him that she doesn’t want to tie him down and that she will be bringing their baby up single-handedly, Jon decides that he’s got nothing to lose…until he finds himself spending more and more time with Rene!
Jon realizes that he’s close to losing his heart to the beautiful obstetrician. But will he be able to walk away from her once his side of the bargain is fulfilled?
Lynne Marshall writes with great sensitivity and emotional understanding and in The Heart Doctor and The Baby she has penned a heartwarming, perceptive and highly enjoyable tale peopled with wonderful drawn characters, realistic medical scenarios, powerful drama and moving romance. Readers will fall in love with the sexy and intelligent Jon, a sharp and discerning hero whose intellectual acumen is as attractive as his athletic body and kind eyes. Rene is the sort of heroine women everywhere will want as their best friend. She’s smart, intelligent, determined and has a strong inner core that makes her relatable and believable.
With The Heart Doctor and The Baby, Lynne Marshall continues to please her readers with her intelligent, uplifting and immensely readable Medical Romances. Her true to life page-turners shouldn’t be missed!

About the
Book:

You’ve nailed it, Julie. This story kept me turning the pages until nearly 2 a.m. last night. This is just one of the books by Ms Marshall that entertains, uplifts and educates. Anyone who has ever been told that romances are written to format needs to read one of Lynne’s tales. The fact that we know all will end happily does not diminish one bit the enjoyment of arriving there in style led by this mistress of her craft. What man is kept away from a Thriller because he knows there might be some violence or a car crash?
Bravo for a tale well told!
