"Book two of Babies in the Boardroom series…"

Can you imagine hiring your ex as your personal assistant for an important project?  Well, that is exactly what wealthy businessman Nick Andreas did and Maggie is proving to be indispensable in more ways than one.  Nick and Maggie were married right out of high school when Maggie became pregnant.  After losing the baby, Maggie left believing Nick would be better off and for fifteen years Nick believed she left because she didn’t truly love him. Nick’s father, Stephone Andreas, recognizes him as his son but he never married Nick’s mother.  Nick refuses the Andreas money and makes it on his own, starting his own company that is doing extremely well.   However, Maggie is back, divorced, needing a job and pregnant again.  How can Nick turn her down?

Maggie is home taking care of a father that barely notices her through his grief for his wife, Maggie’s stepmother.  She loves her hometown but the only job around is the one as Nick’s assistant.  She knows she is good at what she does and hopes they can work together despite their past and the attraction they still have for each other.  Can there possibly be a second chance for a future together?

SECOND CHANCE BABY is the second book in talented Susan Meier’s Babies in the Boardroom trilogy.  The second Andreas son, Nick, is a compelling character as is the heroine Maggie.  Together, their early story is heart wrenchingly tragic but Ms Meier offers hope for second chances as she writes about their love developing and maturing.  We are also offered added enticing glimpses of the other two Andreas men; Darius, who we met in THE BABY PROJECT and Cade, the Texas cowboy we can’t wait to read about in the final book in this mini series A BABY ON THE RANCH.
