"Intrigue and loads of passion make WITNESS SEDUCTION compellingly enjoyable."

There is desire, threats and deception in WITNESS SEDUCTION, and each moment keeps your attention as facts are revealed about its dynamic hero and heroine. Elle Kennedy skillfully blends romance with a touch of suspense to create a captivating Blaze release.

After Marley Kincaid met a patient, Patrick Grier, in the hospital where she works as nurse, they formed a relationship and even became engaged. After being with him for several months, she was shocked to discover he had lied about everything and is actually a drug dealer plus may have been involved in the killing of a DEA agent. He has been gone for three months, and Marley never wants to see him again. However, the police think she may have also been mixed up in his dealings, and now she is being closely watched in case her ex-fiancé returns.

When Caleb Ford took the assignment to secretly observe Marley at her home, he thought the stakeout would be easy as he just had to wait until the man who killed his partner showed back up. Yet keeping an eye on her is affecting him much more than any other case in his whole career. There is something about this woman that tempts him as no one before her, but he knows making any type of contact might put his mission at risk. Caleb needs proof of either Marley’s participation or innocence, and a situation crops up letting him talk with her. Now if he can just get a little closer to her, he might learn the truth.

Emotions are realistically conveyed when Elle Kennedy writes the story. The thoughts of the characters in WITNESS SEDUCTION are gotten across with much clarity, whether those views pertain to sexual feelings or notions about life in general, and each one lets the reader become more knowledgeable about the individual. While Caleb is a dedicated DEA agent, his life when not working is a lonely existence and Ms. Kennedy gives insight as to why he is so reluctant to get close to anyone. There are numerous times when I wanted to hug this appealing man, as his inner turmoil was so intense. Marley also had some difficult issues to rise above, yet her supportive nature repeatedly had her putting others before her own concerns. Both of these characters are exceedingly likable, and I really became eager to see what life-altering decisions they would finally make on several occasions. Their reactions to a few of the situations that arise are very emotional, and they communicate their feelings with much frankness. The sexual awareness between these two is off the scale during a couple of encounters filled with a great deal of tension. When they at last give in to this practically overpowering desire, the moment is scorching with fiery heat yet also moving with an abundance of tenderness. And Ms. Kennedy definitely gave them more than a couple of opportunities to express their longing for the other. The suspenseful aspect of the story is cleverly written, as the reader gets hints as to what might happen while hoping for the best. WITNESS SEDUCTION is a romantic novel where desires are fulfilled and threatening danger looms.
