Review: A Secret Birthright by Olivia Gates
January 16, 2012 in Harlequin Desire, January 2012, Reviews by Debby
Prince Fareed Aal Zaafer has spent the past few months searching for his late brother’s family. He has tried everything and cannot seem to find her and the baby. Then Gwen McNeal arrives looking for his help and Fareed is delighted she is not the woman he seeks as he wants to claim her for his own. Gwen came to Fareed for help only as a last resort. He was the only one who could help her and her baby. Quick as a wink, Gwen finds herself in Jizaan, his kingdom, and the one place she did not want to be. Both Fareed and Gwen feel uncontrollable desire for each other but Gwen is hiding something, a secret that must remain just that, a secret that could jeopardize their budding relationship.
Olivia Gates knows how to create characters that are sensitive, noble, loveable and realistic. It does not take long before we find ourselves rooting for a happy ending for this luscious couple, Gwen and Fareed. Fareed is quite the hero. In fact he could be a blueprint for heroes everywhere. Gwen is perfect for him. Now, if only everyone else would not interfere. A Secret Birthright is awarded an A+ for entertainment with another A+ for the great plot and characters. Olivia Gates makes the honor roll with her latest, A Secret Birthright.
