Review: PREGNANT: FATHER WANTED by Claire Baxter
Lyssa Belperio may be pregnant but that won’t stop her from doing what she loves, traveling and writing about her experience. Given an assignment to the Amalfi Coast of Italy she jumps at the chance to get away for a while and maybe make a fresh start. But that is until she meets her tour guide because there is more to Ric Rosetti than meets the eye. Ric is a playboy who sees the world with jaded eyes but when he meets Lyssa he knows that she is different from any other woman he has met because she sees him as a man and not as a meal ticket. What will happen when they discover that falling in love is easy but letting the one you love know is even harder?
Pregnant: Father Wanted by Claire Baxter is a contemporary romance that tells of a tender and caring relationship between a cynical, world-weary man, and a woman who believes in being loved for herself and not what she has. I loved reading about Ric and Lyssa because Ric has never met a woman like Lyssa, someone who isn’t afraid of enjoying everything in life and seeing the world through her eyes makes him appreciate everything he has and is about to be given, while for Lyssa, reading about her was like a breath of fresh air, she didn’t expect the impossible but she did want to believe that everyone deserves to be happy. Ms. Baxter has penned these fantastic characters of Pregnant: Father Wanted in a way that will make readers fall for them just as I did.
