Review: Miracle: Twin Babies by Fiona Lowe
After getting her heart broken by her ex, Dr Kirby Atherton had decided that she wanted a change. Refusing to live with a daily reminder of Anthony’s betrayal, she had packed up her bags and left the city for a tiny coastal Australian town, Port Bathurst. Losing herself in her work and the demands of her profession, Kirby begins to experience a little bit of happiness after a very long time. But the job she has come to love is threatened and Kirby soon realizes that yet another one of her dreams might be coming to a premature end.
Dr Nick Dennison had also come to Port Bathurst to escape from his own demons. Once a hot-shot doctor with an interchangeable array of blondes warming his bed, Nick’s world had been shaken to its very core when he had been diagnosed with cancer, and although he had managed to triumph over the disease, Nick soon realized that going back to his old way of life held no appeal whatsoever. Neither is he keen on returning to practicing medicine. Instead, he is relishing living in perfect anonymity growing organic vegetables in Port Bathurst.
Since he’s been in remission, no woman has ever managed to penetrate the barriers which he’s built around himself – until he meets Kirby! Kirby needs help in Port Bathurst – and despite his vows not to practise medicine – he soon finds himself agreeing. Thrown into close proximity together, Nick’s feelings for Kirby soon begin to escalate and when he gives into his feelings for her, he finally realizes that he’s finally found a woman with whom he can be himself.
But Nick’s still afraid of the past and unless he faces up to his demons, he might lose Kirby forever. Is he prepared to take that chance?
Miracle: Twin Babies is a wonderful story full of heart, pathos and humor that will make you laugh and cry. Fiona Lowe never fails to write enchanting, heartwarming and realistic Medical Romances with wonderful three dimensional characters you’d love to know (and in the case of her heroes, love to love!)
A spellbinding and emotional tale, talented Australian author Fiona Lowe has penned another enjoyable romantic tale that will make your heart sing! Don’t miss it!
