Joanne Rock
Joanne Rock talks about Temptation
CR: Looking back over your years as a Temptation Author, do you have a favorite book that you wrote? One that says Temptation all over it?
Is it a cop out to say I love every one for different reasons? I’m sure it is. I guess I’m especially proud of ONE NAUGHTY NIGHT because it was my first Wrong Bed book, a miniseries I’ve always loved and couldn’t wait to try as a writer.
CR: Do you have any favorite Temptation novels in particular? Ones that embody the essence of the Temptation line.
Two favorites that come to mind are Stephanie Bond’s ABOUT LAST NIGHT and Julie Kistler’s hysterical (and sexy) JUST A LITTLE FLING. These were the Wrong Bed stories that made me a devout reader of the miniseries.
CR: With Temptation not being sold in North America in the future, what’s next on your plate? Will you continue writing for them?
I will be focusing my efforts on writing for Blaze, Harlequin Historicals and Signature. I look forward to the release of my first Wrong Bed story for the Blaze line in April 2006 and I hope fans of the Wrong Bed will take a peek!
CR: Do you have any special memories about the Temptation line? Meeting fellow Temptation authors, book signings, a letter from a reader?
I received my first fan letter via e-mail the very day LEARNING CURVES (my first book) hit the shelves. It was such a nice welcome to the line and gave me my first glimpse of how incredibly supportive Temptation readers would be for each and every book I wrote for the line.
CR: How can readers stay in touch with you?
Readers are always welcome (encouraged!) to visit me at http://www.joannerock.com or drop me an email at joanne@joannerock.com. Chatting with readers is one of the very best rewards of writing.
