THE NURSE’S BROODING BOSS by LAURA IDING

Dedicating his career to helping those in need Dr Brock Madison didn’t know what to think when his past comes back in the form of Elana Shultz, a nurse in his new A&E department. Elana represents his tragic youth and he wants to make amends but first he has to get past the barriers between them. Will Elana forgive him for his past mistake? Or will their tragic past keep them apart?

A romance tainted by tragedy, The Nurse’s Brooding Boss by Laura Iding will leave any reader believing that the truth will set them free. Brock has committed his career to making up for the tragedy that shaped his life while Elana has fought  the demons of her past to become a caring nurse. Both of them have dealt with the tragedy that joined them by overcoming it to discover the future that was waiting for them both and by learning to find forgiveness in the truth. Kudos to Ms Iding for creating such a spectacular story for this reader to devour.

EMERGENCY DOCTOR AND CINDERELLA by MELANIE MILBURNE

Dr Erin Taylor is a dedicated medical professional who has kept her emotions under lock and key, that is until Dr Eamon Chapman enters her life. With Eamon he awakens feelings she has never felt or dealt with before. But will Erin follow her heart or her head when dealing with Eamon? And will Eamon be the man to awaken the warm and passionate woman that lies dormant within Erin so that they can have the happily-ever-after they deserve?

A romance of a woman who must learn how to love Emergency Doctor And Cinderella takes the reader on a fairytale journey. Erin never knew how to love until Eamon came along and saw her potential. Together these two characters explore their relationship as well as discovering each other. Ms Milburne writes books that readers can fall in love with and enjoy their characters, and I have to say that this book is no different. Thank you Ms Milburne for another enjoyable read.

Both of these books were a joy to read from the first page to the last and I’m sure others will think the same. Kudos to Ms Iding and Ms Milburne for such outstanding reads.

A Tribute to our Heros and Heroines Serving Our Country

12:58 pm in Author, Blog, Laura Iding, M&B Medical, USA by Laura Iding

a-tribute-to-our-heros-and-heroines-serving-our-country

Today is Memorial Day, a day to remember those heros and heroines who have died while serving our country.

Military heros and heroines are very popular in books. Why? My guess is because these are regular people, our neighbors, our relatives and our friends who are doing extraordinary things. I personally love a book with a Military hero. They are absolutely some of my favorites.

My dad’s oldest brother, Uncle Bob, served in WW II and was stationed in the South Pacific. I of course wasn’t born yet, but when I grew older, I noticed Uncle Bob didn’t like the fireworks during the Fourth Of July. Those loud popping sounds reminded him too much of gunfire. After Uncle Bob passed away, I discovered he’d been awarded a medal of honor and my dad told me the story. He and several other men were bunkered down in a fox hole for three days straight. They were tired, hungry and thirsty. Their enemies crept up and launched a grenade right into the middle of their fox hole. For a few stunned seconds they all stared at it, and then Uncle Bob threw himself on top of the grenade, in an effort to save the rest of the men. The grenade happened to be a dud. Fortunately, the entire group was rescued a few hours later. They all survived.

The actions of a true hero? I think so.

So today, we honor those men and women who served our country. Those who gave their lives so we could live in peace.

Please stop by and let us all know who the special person is in your life that you’d like to remember today.

This one is for you, Uncle Bob Wanke. May you rest in peace.

Laura
