The Cannes Film Festival is in full swing and starlets from across the globe are gathered in the luxurious resort desperately trying to get noticed – all except for Anny Chamion who is relishing the anonymity! For Anny is not a fame-hungry airhead who wants to get her picture in the paper, but a PhD student who is also a princess! Anny is in Cannes accompanying her betrothed, Gerard, a man chosen for her by her father. Anny is fond of Gerard, but deep in her heart she knows that she does not love for him. However, Anny knows that love is the only luxury which she cannot afford!
Enjoying a casual drink in the lobby of the Ritz, Anny is stunned when she suddenly comes face to face with the man whose poster had graced her walls as a teenager; the man who was the star attraction in most of her teenage fantasies: Demetrios Savas! Coming face to face with the man whom she had spent most of her teens daydreaming about, Anny is initially speechless, but her speechlessness turns to acute shock when Demetrios kisses her!
After the death of his wife, Demetrios had left the harsh glare of the limelight and spent most of his time regrouping and reassessing his priorities. But when he realized that he couldn’t continue hiding anymore, Demetrios had decided to come out of hibernation and pen a screenplay which critics are already lauding as the picture of the year. Demetrios is thrilled to have his work acknowledged and appreciated by his peers, but the one thing which he is not enjoying is being constantly followed by the paparazzi, his every move hounded and recorded by predatory photographers. Needing to create a diversion, Demetrios had seen Anny and kissed her.
Their kiss was only meant to act as a smokescreen, but Demetrios soon realizes that he wants more from Anny – starting in the bedroom! Yet, little do they realize that their one night of sizzling passion could lead to so much more.
Anny is enjoying the fact that Demetrios seems so taken with her, but how will he react when he finds out that the woman he’s taken to bed is not only a virgin, but also a Crown Princess?
