Review: PROMISES, PROMISES by Amber Miller
Raelene Strattford is left alone when her parents are killed in an accident. Their farm was just beginning to pay off when Raelene became the sole owner. But in
Amber Miller skillfully carries her readers back to a time when women had little say in their lives. PROMISES, PROMISES is a story about a woman, Raelene, struggling with this perception and the man, Gustaf, that helps her. God has surely brought the two together but will Raelene accept his will? Powerful characters and an intriguing plot will keep readers mesmerized. Talented Amber Miller is an author to watch and with two more books in her Delaware Brides series to come, fans should be ecstatic.

Donna, I’m not sure how I missed this when it was originally posted, but I just received the alert through Google Alerts and dropped by to read your post.
Wow! Thanks for an awesome review. I’m honored by the impression you had of my first book and the recommendation of the other 2 books in the series that are releasing in July and December of this year. With your permission, I’d like to use your review on my web site.
Just one small correction. The book is actually set in New Castle, Delaware, not Pennsylvania…although New Castle was part of the Three Lower Counties of PA. It’s complicated as they were part of PA but separate counties with their own legislation. Since New Castle is part of present-day Delaware, it would make sense for modern-day readers to consider it Delaware.
Anyway, thank you again. And FOUR STARS. I’m flattered!
